A correction to the shoe post

 I've edited the big post about Hutch's footwear. Here's the addition:

EDIT 2018-01-28: The square-toed promo boots are the boots that Hutch wears in the pilot and several S1 episodes: the toe just happened to look rounded in the best screencap I got when writing that post. Also, the very-high-heeled promo boots do make at least one appearance in the show, in the first half of Death Notice! (Then the cleanly one changes his outfit again from top to toe; it's so funny that Starsky goes through probably half the S1 episodes in the same blue t-shirt, jeans, sneakers and windbreaker while Hutch keeps changing costumes. And Hutch wasn't even the one to take the dive in this scene! Starsky just dries off and wears the same things the next day!)

What goes through a 6 foot tall person's mind choosing high heels? "Oh, goody! If I wear these, I can smack my head on even more door frames and ceiling fans!."
